Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino

On November 6th 2023 we returned to the Nuovo Rebecchino for the 9th time though COVID stopped us making every year in succession (the hotel held our reservation for over a year without any extra charge). The staff team were as welcoming as ever and with my mobility problem at 74 had carefully reserved a room on the first floor near to the lift. Throughout our 6 night stay every member of staff proved again to be caring and many went the extra mile to find me a map or a taxi as needed. The hotel is well furnished and clean and is perfectly located near to the main railway station for Herculaneum and Pompeii (but start from Porta Nolana station and not the main station for a seat), the Nolana city gate, wonderful multicultural street market, bars and restaurants and the east end of the three Storicos (the upper Storico is best to avoid the tourists and see the traditional life of Napoli). Bed and breakfast is excellent value and we feel safe in the care of the staff team and hope to return next year.

Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino is an older, stylish hotel. The room was clean and pretty and carefully decorated. Our room had a view of the inner courtyard, so the street noise was not disturbing. Comfortable beds. The included breakfast is really generous, with bread, ham, cheese, butter, pastry, cereals, milk, coffee and tea, yogurt, compote, juice... The Hotel is located 5 minutes to Napoli Centrale train station with Circumvesuviana level, Metro, Alibus to Airport and many other buses.

The hotel is very close to Garibaldi train station and the area does not look very good, but I did not have the feeling of fear for a second. The room I stayed in was very small, modestly equipped, but clean.

The breakfast was good. The location was perfect. The room...could be better but good enough, you can not expect more (old bathroom). Anyway very recommended.

Decent hotel, even if it needs a bit of an undated, the beds were very comfy and the breakfast was super good and light( in a good way).
